We know our colors!

For the longest time when you asked Cade what color something was he would say "orange" no matter what it was. He now knows all of his colors and Josh is no longer worried that Cade was being brain washed with the idea that he needed to go to University of Texas! haha!

We are WARRIORS!!!

This past weekend Josh and I competed in the Warrior Dash in North Texas. It is a 5k run with several obstacles along the way. The last obstacle was swimming through a mud hole under strands of barbwire. It was a BLAST! Can't wait to do it again! So messy but so fun!!

Cade Airways Birthday Party

I never wanted to have a birthday party at our house but this was the year to have it! It worked out great and since Cade is in his shy phase I definitely think it helped keeping him in his own domain. Thank you everyone for coming and making the day so special and wonderful for my precious baby boy! :)

My boy LOVES donuts so that is what we had instead of cake this year. They were a BIG hit!

We had stations set up all over the house. There was a Ticket Counter when you walked in, Security Check (leave your bags), Baggage Check (gift table), First Class Lounge (food and drink), The Cockpit (kids table), Airport Lobby (living room), Lavatory (bathroom) and the Runway Area (playroom)

Baggage Claim area- Their "suitcase" favor boxes, filled with a globe bouncy ball, some Cade Airways nuts and Personalized luggage tags

We hung clouds and planes in the sky over the cardboard "Air Traffic Control Tower" in the playroom

And now we realize all the attention is on me so I'm going to hide

The kids table in the cockpit was specially made for them (by my wonderful Dad) it was just their height. They each had there own little stool and cockpit control placemat with their own "Jet Fuel" (aka apple juice.) Each kid also got a hand painted orange wooden plane and a Co-pilot wings pin both with their name on it to also take home (made by artsy JuJu.) All the kids did so good and we had such a blast!

My baby is 2!

Today is my baby boy's 2nd birthday!! Where does the time go!?! It seems like it was just yesterday we were having his first birthday party. It is still amazing to me how everyday I continue to love this little guy more and more. Everyday he amazes me at what he knows and what he learns. Today on his second birthday here is what he is like these days.....

Favorite foods: bean/cheese burritos, berries, nachos and ice cream

Favorite shows: Go Diego Go, Dora the Explorer, Dino Dan, Bubble Guppies

Favorite movies: Toy Story, Cars, Nemo, Shrek

Makes hilarious, theatrical kind of facial expressions including rolling his eyes (which he has mastered)

He LOVES to cuddle right after bath time while he is still wrapped in his towel

Talks up a storm!!

Still a Daddy's boy

Could JUMP on his bed ALL DAY long

Knows almost all animals on this planet (or so it seems)

Counts all the time: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9

Likes to flirt with the LADIES (will run into things because he is in the zone) We are in trouble!

And of course I could go on and on but I know I'm partial so I won't continue to bore you! :)

It has been an amazing 2 years full of blessings and love! We love you little guy!
