What a week......

Wow! This week has been tough! Josh left for Oklahoma on Monday as I waived in the driveway holding a sick little boy. After two days of him not feeling good and not being able to figure out what was wrong we went to the Doc and he has a sore throat and headache virus. So no medicine just pain reliever and a lot of cuddling with my sweet hurting little boy. I am now not feeling 100%, Josh is still gone and don't know when he will be home plus we have a full weekend planned. It has been a little rough to say the least but it could have always been worst and for that I am grateful. :) Hope we are all back together and 100% ASAP.

Party Time!!

Cade's Big Camp Out!!!

We had a "camping" theme party for Cade the weekend before his birthday at a log cabin in Wichita Falls. It really turned out great. We had a backpack cake, kid trail mix and smore kits for everyone to take home. It turned out to be a beautiful day so we got to have our bug hunt outside around the cabin. The kids LOVED it. Juju (my mom) made all the kids their own bug box and we set out rubber bugs, snakes, lizards and frogs all around for them to go find and collect. It was so much fun. We had a pop-up tent set up inside and all the kids got flashlights. Cade got a ton of wonderful gifts and got to hang out with all his buddies. It was fun for everyone including us parents. Thanks to everyone who came and helped make our little boys birthday the BEST it could be. Ready for next year and all the wonderful new things to come!

Cade is ONE!!!

What an AMAZING year!! Cade has grown so much! He is saying new words every day. Right now he says... baby, bye, bear, ball, mama, more, cracker, cookie and I think that is it?? He is getting great at his animal sounds. Mooing like a cow and Roaring like a bear are his favorites. Poppy and Juju got him a battery operated four-wheeler for his birthday and the little dickens is already figured out how to push the button and make it go. It doesn't scare him one BIT, which of course kind of scares me since that means he will probably be fearless when he gets older. Yay! haha! Bring on the warm weather so we can stay outside and he can ride all over the place. He LOVES to be outside. Typical boy I guess. He already has an attitude at this ripe age of one. I can't wait until the terrible twos. haha. He is such a strong little BRUTE! If he can't get something he just forces it until he gets it where he wants it, not minding anything that is in his way. We love our little, big, strong, active boy!!
